Born Again in Death

The way of the cross,

The way of His love,

I would not trade,

For all happiness,

Wealth or fame.

How can I explain?

That torture and pain,

Are preferred over

All earthly gain.

How can I express,

The incredible bliss,

Dying to all of self,

That Jesus Christ may live?

He died His death for me

That I may be set free,

Now in dying there is life

As my Master so shall I be.
