One of the first things to overcome is the overwhelming feeling that you have so much to do and so little time to do it in. The truth is you may have too many things you would like to get done in a short amount of time. It is important to have the attitude of numbering our days to apply our heart unto wisdom (Psalm 90:12).

Ask God to help you see where you should prioritize your time and also give you the wisdom to be flexible with your time. Learn to make even your own personal up keep of your home or time spent with family members a committed appointment. Treat your home with the utmost of respect and love. Not only will you find that you have time you will find your time is well spent.

Organize

Nothing takes away precious time than having a clutter. It seems it takes more time just to clean around the clutter. Learn to identify clutter in your home. When you come in your home or room and your immediate reaction is disgust or frustration at the immense task before you then it is time to organize.

If the task seems huge for the area then get boxes to put the stuff in them. This way you can start with a clear room. Make some plans as to where and what will go in a certain area of the room.

An added tip is that you may want to set the boxes aside and really analyze if you really need that stuff back in the room. As you do this you may find you do not. In which case it is best for you to simply get rid of the stuff.

Think Spiritual

Remind yourself of the importance of time management and organization. Find scriptures that personally speak to you that will help motivate you to keep on keeping. This will certainly help nurture your spiritual wellbeing. Scriptures will also keep you from focusing on the temporal and more on the eternal.

You can also begin to see what is well pleasing to God. You will have the freedom to see what is truly more important and that is lasting relationships with loved ones. If have too many things taking up your time in your home rather than going outside with your children or visiting with a friend then think stop holding on to it. Life is too short to spend with stuff, so simplify your life and make the most of your time building relationships.

Once your get a great handle on your time and you have simplified your life by getting rid of things then give your home purpose. Have a vision for what you desire your home to be. Be it a safe haven where you can minister to those who come by to visit. Or perhaps such as friends of mine who have taken their home on the road to minister to others.

Evaluate what you allow in your home and see if it will help you fulfill your overall pupose. What greater purpose for a Christian woman can there be than glorifying God? You will find that when your home serves a purpose you effortlessly spend many hours with your beloved Lord for your home will reflect His presence.
