The gospel message of today leaves much to be desired. As I noticed so called Christianity is predominately no different than the world, struggling, committing suicide, not having any hope. Getting pumped up about going to heaven yet living miserably here on earth, murmuring and complaining.
2 Corinthians 11
2 For I am jealous over you with godly jealousy: for I have espoused you to one husband, that I may present you as a chaste virgin to Christ.
3 But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtilty, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ.
4 For if he that cometh preacheth another Jesus, whom we have not preached, or if ye receive another spirit, which ye have not received, or another gospel, which ye have not accepted, ye might well bear with him.
I often think how selfish and man centered we have made the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ. “Marketing” heaven, the benefits for man, rather than telling the truth of the God centered good news.
Here is Almighty God, humbling himself to come down to dwell with man, for those who are willing to receive His free gift of salvation. And what is the purpose of God saving man?
It is for God’s glory.
He is such a condescending God that He is willing to give you the opportunity to magnify Him in your life today by receiving the triune God to live in you, by the power of His Spirit.
“According to my earnest expectation and my hope, that in nothing I shall be ashamed, but that with all boldness, as always, so now also Christ shall be magnified in my body, whether it be by life, or by death.” Philippians 1:20
The Road to Heaven
The message I preach, the hope of glory is now, not when I get to heaven. He wants to be your hope today, to abide in you and you in Him for the glory of God.
The road to heaven, from here on earth is filled with tribulation, yet you can rejoice. When you know your Redeemer who walks and talks with you then His love is shed abroad in your heart. You can then give the message of His wonderful grace to others.
“And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation worketh patience; And patience, experience; and experience, hope: And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us.” Romans 5:3-5
Beware of Preaching another Gospel
No, this is not the kind of Gospel most people want to “market” because it does not feed the fleshly desires of self-preservation. In fact the Gospel of our Lord is not something you can sell or convince the flesh but rather freely give that the Spirit may have life in you.
Please do not preach another Gospel to make it “soft” for the flesh to handle.
Who doesn’t want to go to heaven? Don’t leave off the rest, allow people to know what it means to follow Jesus…losing their life for His (see Matthew 10:39).
Galatians 1
3 Grace be to you and peace from God the Father, and from our Lord Jesus Christ,
4 Who gave himself for our sins, that he might deliver us from this present evil world, according to the will of God and our Father:
5 To whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen.
6 I marvel that ye are so soon removed from him that called you into the grace of Christ unto another gospel:
7 Which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ.
8 But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed.
Very serious. Please study the scriptures and discover the beauty of the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Preach the Gospel of Truth
We, His children, have a greater responsibility than a ticket to heaven. We have the responsibility to be heaven’s representatives here on earth. The Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ is that He is born in you, the new birth, the new creature!
He, our God, is greater in you than he that is in the world. God intends for you, His child, to be victorious but that victory only comes by way of the cross.
“And when he had called the people unto him with his disciples also, he said unto them, Whosoever will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me.” Mark 8:34
And will you journey to heaven? Of course you will 
You are already seated in the heavenly places with Christ Jesus (see Eph 2:6). It is not a journey you need to attain it is one that is already freely given you by faith (by Christ) to you today.
“For our gospel came not unto you in word only, but also in power, and in the Holy Ghost, and in much assurance…” 1 Thessalonians 1:5a
Beloved know the Gospel of our Lord and preach it with power.
