One thing, that is what my husband, missionary Bruce Moore, discovered this past Sunday in the early 
morning hours as he was preparing his message for the Sunday morning service for our people here in Nicaragua.
Arriving at the humble home of one of our dear folks by the Matagalpa river where we began services. We sang a few hymns and then Bruce spoke. As he explained bits of what he was about to tell us, Bruce let us know that this message he prepared impacted his life.
In fact it was not what he had planned to do but God gave him the message in the early hours of the morning on February 22, 2015.
Bruce said, “What if I told you, if you would do just ONE thing, God will grant you the following…”

- Provision of Needs
- Longer Life
- Abundant Life
- Satisfaction
- Confidence
- Learn to Depart from Evil
- God’s Special Care and Provision
- No Want
- Great Mercy
- Your Desires Would Be Fulfilled
- God Will Reveal Secrets to You
- You Will Have Knowledge of Him
- His Salvation Would Be Near
- God Would Take Pleasure in You
Bruce went on to explain how if anyone would have told him the above last week he would have thought them to be crazy. But upon a scripture look and analysis he found it to be so.

BLESSINGS:
(Psa 115:13) He will bless them that fear the LORD, both small and great.
RICHES/HONOR:
(Prov 22:4) By humility and the fear of the LORD are riches, and honour, and life.
PROVISION OF NEEDS:
(Psa 111:5) He hath given meat unto them that fear him: he will ever be mindful of his covenant.
LONGER LIFE:
(Prov 10:27) The fear of the LORD prolongeth days: but the years of the wicked shall be shortened.
ABUNDANT LIFE:
(Prov 14:27) The fear of the LORD is a fountain of life, to depart from the snares of death.
SATISFACTION:
(Prov 19:23) The fear of the LORD tendeth to life: and he that hath it shall abide satisfied; he shall not be visited with evil.
CONFIDENCE:
(Prov 14:26) In the fear of the LORD is strong confidence: and his children shall have a place of refuge.
LEARN TO DEPART FROM EVIL:
(Prov 16:6) By mercy and truth iniquity is purged: and by the fear of the LORD men depart from evil.
GOD’S SPECIAL CARE & PROTECTION:
(Psa 33:18) Behold, the eye of the LORD is upon them that fear him, upon them that hope in his mercy;
(Psa 34:7) The angel of the LORD encampeth
round about them that fear him, and delivereth them.
NO WANT:
(Psa 34:9) O fear the LORD, ye his saints: for there is no want to them that fear him.
GREAT MERCY:
(Psa 103:11) For as the heaven is high above the earth, so great is his mercy toward them that fear him.
(Luke 1:50) And his mercy is on them that fear him from generation to generation.
(Psa 103:17) But the mercy of the LORD is from everlasting to everlasting upon them that fear him, and his righteousness unto children’s children;
YOUR DESIRES WOULD BE FULFILLED:
(Psa 145:19) He will fulfil the desire of them that fear him: he also will hear their cry, and will save them.
GOD WILL REVEAL SECRETS TO YOU:
(Psa 25:14) The secret of the LORD is with them that fear him; and he will show them his covenant.
YOU WILL HAVE KNOWLEDGE OF HIM:
(Prov 2:5) Then shalt thou understand the fear of the LORD, and find the knowledge of God.
HIS SALVATION WOULD BE NEAR:
(Psa 85:9) Surely his salvation is nigh them that fear him; that glory may dwell in our land.
GOD WOULD TAKE PLEASURE IN YOU:
(Psa 147:11) The LORD taketh pleasure in them that fear him, in those that hope in his mercy.

GOD’S SPECIAL PITY:
(Psa 103:13) Like as a father pitieth his children, so the LORD pitieth them that fear him.

Without the fear of the Lord you cannot even begin to love God much less obey Him.
